We believe that God has called us to not just attend church but to be the church to one another. Connect Groups will do just that, they will build a deeper sense of community within our church while simultaneously bringing every participant closer to the Lord.
As well, we know many people within the congregation have family and friends that may not have a desire to go to a church on Sunday but would visit a group in someone's home.
Connect Groups are meant to do three things:
1. Fellowship- Building community while investing relationally and spiritually in the life of others.
2. Discipleship – Have meaningful teachings, and conversations that take us deeper in our walk with the Lord.
3. Evangelism- Bring in those who may not feel comfortable stepping directly into a church setting but may feel comfortable visiting a connect group in a home with a more familiar setting.
ONE OF LIBERTY WORSHIP CENTER’S GOALS WITH THE CONNECT GROUP IS TO ENGAGE ALL CHURCH MEMEMBERS TO BE ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN FELLOWSHIP, DISICIPLESHIP, AND EVANGELISM.
